Multiple Teams · Monticello hosts National Signing Day event for 2021 student-athletes!

By: Jared Hines

Over the last month, Monticello High School has worked hard to try to recognize students who are choosing to pursue athletics at the next level.

On March 23, the swimmers hosted their own event, choosing to celebrate with others in the close-knit swimming family at Monticello Middle School. Photos from that event can be found here!

A couple of weeks later on April 14th, Activities Director Gary Revenig worked at putting together a small event that allowed social distancing to be followed but also brought together athletes from all seasons that have signed or would be signing to their future college or university. There, the following student-athletes were recognized:

Cal Schmitz- Northern State Wolves (Baseball)
